Susan and Mike are absolutely amazing breeders! They are very attentive and genuinely care about their puppies and the homes they are going to. They want nothing but the best care and health for all the puppies and take the time to check in with you after you take them home. Once you select a puppy, they invite you to their home to spend time with the puppy at least 3-4 times before you take them home to begin bonding with them. Each visit includes either a groomer, trainer, or nutritionist to help answer any questions you have about the care of your doodle. Da Ruba Doodles really does create a very informative experience to properly prepare you for this specific breed. Aside from their professional side, they are an absolute pleasure to speak with. So sweet, caring, and very hard working. Also, extremely clean and routinely sanitizes the puppy areas. Susan and Mike care about the families and ensure you can contact them at anytime even after you take home your new baby. I couldn’t possibly recommend a puppy from any other breeder. My puppy has an amazing temperament, has been exposed to many things prior to taking him home, and was even potty trained which made the take home experience a much easier transition. Susan has done an amazing job to ensure they are creating a family brand and long term community. They are very honest and as transparent as can be about the love for what they do.Secondly, the information and training offered through her partners. We covered a variety of topics such as managing “the first year with your doodle, vet care, grooming, foods and basic obedience. It is important to note the head-start on potty training the pups received. We are great full for the crash course workshop.Finally, this is a community. I recently decided to get a golden doodle. I reached out to Susan with Da Ruba Doodles when I saw her Facebook advertising puppies. I have had many dogs through the years but this was by far the best experience of selecting the right puppy for us. When the pups were 1 week old we went to see them and I picked mine out. Susan was so easy to work with and she provided so much information during the time I was waiting to take Maggie home. I was able to see her every week and watch her grow as I bonded with her. I highly recommend Da Ruba Doodles if you are looking for that perfect pup! Even my vet commented on how calm the puppy was. I attribute that to all of Susan's hard work for those first 8 weeks. Hey Susan, we turned a corner and are 100% keeping Luna. In hindsight, getting the puppy and having the kids home at the same time was a terrible idea. We took the kids out of summer camp the week we got the puppy, thinking it would be great bonding time, but it was way (way) too much and overwhelming. The kids went back to summer camp last week and things were way (way) more manageable. She really is a fantastic puppy. She’s doing incredible with training right now (not officially with a trainer, but home training the time).
